The album was certified gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 copies. Five singles were released from it: “Some Guys Have All the Love” which reached a peak of No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. , the title track, “You and Forever and Me”, “What Were You Thinkin'”, and “I’d Rather Miss You”. Respectively, these reached #8, #13, #5, #17 and #16 on the Hot Country Songs charts. Highlights are “What Were You Thinkin” but “Some Guys Have All The Love” is also tops. I can’t forget to mention “Down In The Valley”, title cut, “You And Forever And Me”, And “I’d Rather Miss You” are also so good that this album seems more like a “Greatest Hits” album then their first studio album.
